Wikipedia, the biggest reference work ever created, has been able to beat all known records of productivity. Fostered by the contributions of millions of users, it has become the 5th most visited site in the planet. However, recent changes in its patterns of activity seem to indicate a new phase, where contributing is getting more and more difficult. We will explore these changes, hypothesis of its possible causes and its implications to guarantee its sostenibility in the future.

In order to complete the session, we will explain how this community is organized, its rules, contribution and purge ways, etc. We will try to clarify some myths and wrong believes about Wikipedia, as well as explain the specificities of this pen and independent work created thanks to the cooperation of volunteer editors.
