An approach to this session

Tras haber repasado durante las tres primeras sesiones formativas las diferentes fases que atraviesa una investigación de periodismo de datos toca ponerse manos a la obra.

If you want to propose a talk for this Barcamp, you just need to fill in the form below with your name, the subject of your talk, and a contact address. The session will last for three hours as usual and the idea is to include all the proposals we receive. In case we receive a lot of proposals, we will make a selection and publish the criteria used in making it.  The deadline for proposing talks is 5 April.

We know that the Data Journalism group has a lot of members who do not live in Madrid. For that reason, Medialab Prado is offering two tickets and two nights at a hotel so two people from outside Madrid can come to present their projects. If you want to apply for one of these tickets, please say so on the form.

Wednesday 28 March is the deadline for those applications. If there are more than two applicants, the selection criteria will be:

  • That the person or team has not presented previously at the data journalism group.
  • Originality of the project.
  • If you are part of a team, that no team member is in Madrid.

We await your proposals!
