Understanding social influence with Riverrun 3

Hi everybody,

I am Francisco Romero (Paco) and I will be scientific facilitator during Interactivos?'14. I have been reading about Riverrun3 here and in Kevin McCourt's web page. I still do not know oo much about the project but I like the idea of collaborative creation and task solving. I would like to ask some questions about the project and propose something.

As far as I have understood one of the aims of the project is to understand the social influence during the creative process of a collaborative text through Riverrun3. Although it seems that you plan to work on improving the interface and visual presentation, I was wondering how the selection of the next phrase in the main text is done. Is there any kind of votation among the different collaborators' sentences? Who do decide which the next phrase should be? May be it would be interesting to have some of this informations to better understand how each piece of the text is affecting each collaborator (social influence). Also, it could help to understand the evolution of the text. Furthermore, I am thinking that may be this information could add some dynamism to the visual presentation of the text.

What do you think? Could this be helpful for the project?

Best,

Paco

PS. Where can I find more informations about Riverrun2?
