Pattern Jam

On Thursday, December 11, the workshop for Community Garment Production attended Pattern Jam, hosted by the Textil en Abiero research group at MediaLab-Prado, lead by Elisabeth (Eli) Lorenzi.

Pattern Jam was a lot of fun. Every Thursday at 6:00, Pattern Jam attendees make their own sewing patterns from existing garments.  They cut and sew their garments using MediaLab equipment and sewing machines. Eli demonstrated the new Husqvarna serger!
