Neighbourhood
"la vecindad" (neighbourhood) is an interactive installation that invites the participants to inhabit and give life to an environment with which they will be very familiar.
The possibility of getting dressed up and playing in the neighbourhood yard enters in tension with the voices that address those that are present and question them about their acts from a remote place.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The public that enters the exhibition room: is captured on the blue background by the video camera and projected on the white wall opposite. Thanks to the “blue screen” effect, they see themselves resituated in the context of "the neighbourhood" that is projected in the room. The public have access to disguises that are hanging on a bar. Sometimes, in the room, voices are heard, speaking to those that are present from an undefined location.
The public that connects via www.corcolito.tv : can see and listen the public that is visiting the room, moving around the neighbourhood, getting dressed up and doing whatever they feel like doing (within legal limits). It is also possible to talk to the people that are in the exhibition room via the www.corcolito.tv interface.
