Presentation of the call for collaborators

The role of the collaborator is crucial in the Medialab-Prado's workshops' statement and development process, as these workshops are constituted as a horizontal collaborative work environment, knowledge interchange and theoretical-practical training among teachers, authors and collaborators.

Collaborators can join any of the developing teams that will carry out the selected projects, depending on their particular interests and skills, thus contributing with their knowledge and skills and at the same time learning from the other group members and from the leading tutors: Antoni Abad, Chris Sugrue, Mario Toboso y Carlos Tomás. Coordinated by Alma Orozco.

According to the entry rules, collaborators' names will be acknowledged in the final prototypes. Medialab-Prado can issue a diploma to collaborators after completing the workshop.

In order for the workshop to be more efficient, Medialab-Prado will do its best to avoid people having their participationg limited due to a lack or personal assistance. Therefore we appreciate that participants include a detailed explanation of their needs in their forms.

During the first session (December 13 - 16, 2012) in Medialab-Prado (temporarily located at Matadero-Madrid) the development of project will begin. In between sessions we encourage teams to continue working independently and bring projects to a further stage of developement before the second part of the workshop January (17 - 20, 2013).
