Devisualize: Call for Projects

Areas of interest:

• Devisualizing the image: ¿how to work through the visual bringing it to the frontier of the intelligible, setting to motion amorphous bodies, without a recognizable identity but with a presence? 
• Deterritorialising interfaces: in the era of the Panchoreograhic interfaces induce a reductionism of movement and non verbal communication, assimilating them into coordinates of cause-effect relation within an algorithmic system. How can we reappropriate interfaces beyond their cartesian framework of operations? How can we make them appeal to a diffuse corporeality, not an abstract and disembodied mind?
• Decentralising hearing: in the era of the panacoustic, where ubiquitous commercial music proliferates in stereo systems and totalitarian stages for centralized perception, reproducing standardized schemes of rhythm, tonality, and musical form, how can we redefine hearing and open up the sound architecture of the body?
• Demapping public space: in a society of hiperreal information, where public space is a stage for continuous simulation undertaken by metasystems of control, what choreographies of relationality and perception can we set to motion for a real reappropriation of space, not as an extensive, but as an intensive reality?
• Disorienting affects: in contemporary capitalism of affects, where these are often reduced to single emoticons in a visual interface of a social network, how can we set to motion nearly legible affects and modes of relation that are irreducible to an interpretation? 
• Undoing anatomy/undoing sex: How to produce a body without anatomy and form that defies categories of binary sex-gender identity and sexual orientation?
