Hacking algorithmic visual hegemony to create new gender imaginaries.

If you are interested in exploring issues of technology, gender and new visualities, know alternative uses of generative artificial intelligence tools, or would like to learn more about the field. We invite you to participate in our activities that will take place on February 14, 15 and 16 at Medialab Matadero.
PARTICIPANTS
We are looking for people from various disciplines who would like to participate in a collaborative art project, regardless of their level of studies, background or specialty. You only have to be of legal age and fill in the application form: https://forms.gle/PbmaBeWNAWkW6ZXo9
ACTIVITIES
XVS CENTER will create groups integrated by technical, artistic and social profiles that will work intensively and autonomously on a collaborative project. During this period they will enjoy a series of workshops that will take place on February 14, 15 and 16, 2024 at Medialab Matadero. Throughout the process they will be accompanied by professionals from the art sector who will help them shape the project for its subsequent exhibition.

AGENDA

- Closing date: January 24
- Communication of selectors: January 26th
- Online welcome: February 7
- Face-to-face workshops: February 14, 15 and 16.
- Transfer activity: one day between February 17th and 28th, the tools learned will be shown to feminist communities.
- Presentation of images to the public: dates and place to be confirmed.
