MakerBot 3D Printing

A Makerbot CupCake CNC 3D printing machine.

 

The revolution will be robotic. This is a 4-day workshop where we will build and then use a MakerBot 3D printer. The first half of the workshop will focus on constructing the 3D printer from a kit, and the second half of the workshop will focus on designing objects in 3D and then printing them on the MakerBot.

In English without translation.

 

Registration

Registration is free. It is mandatory for participants to be able to attend the whole workshop. Maximum number of participants: 12. In the selection of participants knowledge of 3D modeling and electronics will be valued, as well as motivation and expectations.

We recommend to bring a laptop and an external mouse. All tools and materials will be provided.

Schedule:

Tuesday to Friday
Mornings: 10 am to 2:30 pm
Evening: 4:30 pm to 8 pm

Final presentation (open session):

Last day presentation of the workshop that will take place on Friday 29 at 7:30h where we will talk about the group of work on digital fabrication that it’s about to start within the activities of the Fridays OpenLab in which new workshops and activities will be organized. This activity is open to anyone interested. No registration required.
