«Neighbors of the Barrio de Las Letras, users and friends of Medialab Prado, people from Madrid: we want to see each other's faces again, meet to share some time together, give thanks, and say what we think and feel we can do to improve the city ​​where we live. To do this, we summon you, analogically and digitally, around the digital façade of Medialab Prado next Saturday, June 18 at sunset ».

"What we propose is to participate in an activity that will screen, from June 18 to 30, images of the faces and text messages of all the people who have something to share."

"What do we need? Selfies of your face with a dark background that you can easily take with your mobile. In addition, we need you to send us a message of no more than ten words in which you state what you want to say to Madrid, to your neighbors, what worries you, tell us about your dreams, what do you think the neighborhood needs, Or simply send us words of encouragement because Medialab leaves the neighborhood and we want to thank its activity and presence during these years. Respectful and non-offensive messages ”.

«For this initiative, we count on the invaluable help of the Sol Barrio de Las Letras Neighborhood Association and the technical collaboration of the Medialab Prado team. For Timelab Madrid, Medialab working group and promoter of this activity, the best way to conclude our first Paseo de Jane, which took place on May 6 and 8 in the Barrio de Las Letras, is this: by stating what we want to change to make a city more friendly and closer, more ours; and recognizing the care work of different entities and people in the neighborhood who have been concerned during the pandemic of us and who want to continue their work now, that we can finally SEE OUR FACES ».

The photos received will be displayed on the digital façade of Medialab Prado from June 18 to 30, from 22:00 to 24:00.

The images will only be used for this projection, so after their use on those dates they will be deleted.

On June 18, the opening day of the activity, we are going to hold a public event in which some people and institutions will speak. We invite you to join us!
