open access

This workshop will address the current debates within Anglo-American countries concerning how to provide free access to information and knowledge produced by academic institutions. The discussion will focus on elucidating sustainable and non-discriminatory formulas of free access to scientific knowledge, thereby fostering a notion of knowledge as a public good. Ultimately, we seek to identify avenues for an increasing democratisation of academic institutions and the work that is done by their members.
