Ecology and Commons Workshop. Work Session

> General Information about the Ecology and Commons work group 

The group aims to work using the project Digital Narratives for the Community Participation in Coastline Ecosystems Management as a platform for the debate, focused on the idea that digital media can allow coastline comunities to develop their own narratives about their lives and the use of coastline ecosystems.

Coodinators of the project, other team members, members of the Commons Lab and any other person interested can take part in these workshops.

This first session will consist on a presentation of the project and its relation with the Lab, followed by a study cases dicussion and an analysis of the methodology and goals.

The workshop is mainly aimed at:

• Experts in natural resources and ecosystems management
• People with knowledge in digital audio and video editing for the participation in the Aguiño (Galicia) workshop in July 2010.
• Programmers / designers / artists interested in the development of tools and visualizations.

The workshop is open to the participation of any other person interested. No registration required.
