In this webinar Gaara Collective introduces their proposal for the Collaborative Prototyping Lab: Ktown: Future Epistemologies in Intelogenesis, an experimental mod of the AI-powered video game Dwarf Fortress that evokes a speculative world in which technological instability is amplified by disruptive events. The Collaborative Prototyping Lab is a 2-week residency in the framework of Medialab Matadero’s 2025 thematic program LAB 4 Weird Futures. The goal of the residency is to develop 5 prototypes along with its authors and Alex Quicho, Solveig Qu Suess and Joel Blanco as mentors.
