In this webinar Mac Andre Arboleda (Philippines) introduces their proposal for the Collaborative Prototyping Lab: The Institute of Alice Guo Studies (copy), a research and content production agency that, through the figure of former mayor and con artist Alice Guo, investigates pirate strategies, media capacities and governance networks. The Collaborative Prototyping Lab is a 2-week residency in the framework of Medialab Matadero’s 2025 thematic program LAB 4 Weird Futures. The goal of the residency is to develop 5 prototypes along with its authors and Alex Quicho, Solveig Qu Suess and Joel Blanco as mentors.
