On November 5 will be held in the Nave Una of Matadero Madrid a meeting with Red ACTS, the Network of Art, Science, Technology and Society, which will present several of the proposals in which this network of institutions has been working in recent months.

On the one hand, the new website and the pilot project of the Madrid node of the ACTS Network will be presented. With this event as a base, a panel of artists and scientists whose practices are located at the intersection of art, science, technology and society will be presented. All of them are examples and inspiration of the agents that the network seeks to convene. To close the meeting, there will be a brief presentation of the White Paper prepared by FECYT.

Program:

1. Performative introduction, by the Conjuntos project of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (dance improvisation with interactive sonification using biosensors).

2. Welcome and general introduction of the ACTS Network by Tere Badía.

3. Panel of projects and practices:

4. Presentation of the MAIA pilot project (Madrid - Valencia), with Alfredo Miralles and Moisés Mañas.

5. Presentation of the White Paper on the interrelation of art, science, technology and society in Spain, with Pablo Camacho (FECYT).

6. Questions from the public

During the day Medialab Matadero will host a meeting of members and collaborators of all nodes of the network, which will work on various aspects
